SME.

Selentia Group is a national business group dedicated to the distribution of products and the provision of services related to the food industry. Its business is highly diversified , which directly results in the need to manage a large number of both clients and suppliers.

At this point, they decided to take a step toward digitalization and contacted Sixphere. The goal? To design and implement a solution that would systematize the administrative, financial, and commercial management of Selentia, eliminating the massive handling of paper and its associated problems.

More specifically, the digitalization project undertaken addresses the following objectives and areas for improvement:

To centralize and efficiently organize Selentia's business management at the administrative, financial, and commercial levels. To digitize the data and information associated with each of the company’s core business areas in order to streamline their processing and management. To formalize the company’s operations at a global level and standardize its core business processes. To provide a higher level of control over logistical aspects and inventory management in order to facilitate commercial and distribution tasks.

It's clear: you need an ERP . Invoice management? Internal administration? Clients? Suppliers? A lot of paperwork? In this scenario, the answer comes quickly: an ERP is essential. And not just because it's a trend or preference. An ERP system is generally a central and vital tool for business management, firstly because its implementation drives and supports the formalization of a company’s operations, thus streamlining its workflows; and secondly, because it represents an ideal step toward the digitalization of those workflows and the information they generate, opening the door to a broader digital transformation in the medium and long term.

But why Odoo? With the implementation of Odoo, you immediately get a system that comfortably meets the basic needs of a company at the administrative, financial, and commercial levels. Moreover, its fully modular and Open Source design allows for adaptation to different business realities, either through the installation of existing components or through custom and tailored development.

Training, support, and off to the cloud! Once the platform was set up and a training plan was planned and executed , including the import of existing master data from the organization collected in Excel sheets, where to start? "I don’t have IT infrastructure, what can we do?" The answer is Cloud. Sixphere deploys and securely serves Odoo in the cloud. In this way, Selentia no longer has to worry about servers, infrastructure, or service availability.

Currently, the system is implemented on the cloud with the possibility of expansion. It is being used effectively and organizes the entire management of the company, primarily in the administration and sales departments.

What has been achieved with all of this?

Substantially improve the management and control of internal financial and commercial administration. An efficient formalization and subsequent digitalization of the core business workflows. The streamlining of daily operations across all areas of the company.
